Below is a list of supplies needed, as well as information about ballroom dance supply vendors.
BOYS SUPPLIES NEEDED
- Dance Bag (for all supplies)
- Shoes
- Black Plain Leather Ballroom Shoe
- Acceptable Practice Clothes
- T-shirt or Polo shirt
- Black Latin Pants
- Black Sweatpants
- For Competition
- Island Style Team Warm-Up Jacket (required)
- Long Black Socks
- Hair Kit
- Comb / brush
- Freeze Hairspray (got2b glued is best brand)
- Hair-dryer

GIRLS SUPPLIES NEEDED
- Dance Bag (for all supplies)
- Shoes
- Tan-Colored Latin Sandals w/ 1.5″ Block Heel
- Acceptable Practice Clothes
- Black Leotard (can be long sleeve or short sleeve)
- Black Ballroom Practice Skirt
- Black Latin Practice Skirt
- Thick Black Leggings
- Black “Spanx” Compression Shorts (to be worn under skirt)
- For Competition
- Island Style Team Warm-Up Jacket (required)
- Nude-Colored Leotard w/ Clear Spaghetti Straps (to be worn under costume)
- Caramel-Colored Fishnets (must be in good condition with no large holes)
- Heel-Guards for Ballroom and Latin Shoes
- Hair Kit:
- Comb
- Brush
- Freeze Hairspray (got2b glued is best brand)
- Hair-dryer
- Bobby pins
- Hair Nets (hair-colored & black)
- Thick Elastic Hairbands (hair-colored & black)
- Makeup Kit
- False Eyelashes

- Eyeshadow (dark & neutral colors for smoky look)
- Hot Red Lipstick

- French-Tipped Press-On Fingernails (can be done at salon)
- Misc. Supplies (to be kept in dance bag)
